Afternoon Networking Activities:
Attendees of GAIM Cayman will have exceptional opportunities to meet new potential business partners, renew acquaintances and catch up with friends at the special complimentary networking activities, generously hosted by event sponsors.
Stingray City, Sponsored by Ernst & Young
Stingray City is located in the shallow waters of the northwest corner of Grand Cayman's North Sound. It's just inside a natural channel which passes through the barrier reef. That's important to know, as it explains not only where Stingray City is, but also why it is. This is not a penned up, artificial, man-made aquarium setting with captive rays. This is the real thing, this is the real ocean with real animals who are free to come and go as they choose, and they choose to be there because they hope that you might just come down there and feed them.
Golf Tournament
Greg Norman has designed only two nine hole course in his illustrious career. Open only to guests and Residence owners of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, Blue Tip delivers fiercely on its shark pedigree. Sure to be dubbed a "nine-hole Caribbean monster," the course rouses golfers with its five long Par Fours into the Caribbean trade winds, which can make a 470-yard hole play like 600. The 3,515-yard, par 36 course offers five sets of tees for varied play. Blue Tip features five long Par Fours and a 600 yard Par Five. Water comes into play on eight out of nine holes. Carved along a serpentine waterway with sweeping views of the North Sound, Blue Tip at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is the first course to be constructed on the island in 10 years.
